Towns we cover

Seagrape Gutter Pros covers a ring about 25 minutes around central Vero Beach: Sebastian at the north end, 14 miles up US-1; Fort Pierce at the south end, 15 miles down; the barrier island to the east; and the communities along the St. Lucie County line in between. Anywhere inside that ring, one call to (855) 633-0442 matches you with an independent local gutter installer who comes out, measures and gives you a written price before any work starts.

The houses change a lot across that short distance. Sebastian is mostly 1990s ranch homes under pines. Fort Pierce has the oldest housing in the area. The barrier island is salt air, tile roofs and community design rules. Lakewood Park mixes block homes built without gutters with manufactured-home communities. Each has its own page below so you can read about the problems that actually show up on your street.

Rentals, seasonal homes and small businesses

Coverage is the same whether the house is your own, a rental you manage or a winter home that sits empty from Easter to October. If you can't be there, name a property manager or neighbor who can let the installer look at the roof edge, and keep dated photos of the problem ready to share. Storefronts and offices get the same written price; ask the installer to note where downspout water lands near entrances and walkways, since that is where customers walk.

Vero Beach and Its Unincorporated Neighborhoods

The city of Vero Beach is small, and most homes with a Vero Beach address sit outside the city limits. Vero Beach South, Florida Ridge, Gifford and Winter Beach are unincorporated parts of Indian River County, and people there search for gutters in Vero Beach, so we serve them from the Vero Beach gutter company home page and the service pages instead of separate area pages. The same call covers seamless gutter installation on a ranch home that never had gutters, gutter repair after a storm, and gutter cleaning under oaks and pines.

That also includes the Vero Beach side of the barrier island in 32963, from Riomar and Central Beach north, and the gated golf communities west of town. Estate homes on the island often call about copper and half-round gutters; mainland homes on flat, sandy lots more often need downspouts and drainage work so roof water stops pooling at the slab.

The beachside blocks around Ocean Drive add exposed hardware and tight lots to the island's salt-air problem. On the mainland, North River Shores has low lots near the river, where routing downspout water matters as much as the gutter, and the older neighborhoods closer to downtown sit under mature live oaks that keep corners and outlets busy. The home page lists what to check in each Vero Beach neighborhood.

Indian River County Coverage

North of Vero Beach, coverage runs up US-1 through Wabasso to gutters in Sebastian, including Sebastian Highlands, the riverfront along Indian River Drive and Roseland just beyond. Across the lagoon, it takes in the gated communities of Indian River Shores along A1A, 10 to 15 minutes from the center of town. Pine needles, oak tassels and palm seeds fall year-round across the county, so gutter guards come up in almost every conversation.

Most of this ring drains toward the Indian River Lagoon, and Indian River County runs a stormwater program aimed at keeping runoff pollution out of it. For a house, that comes down to where the downspouts point: onto lawn at least 3 feet from the slab, where the water can soak in, rather than onto a driveway that sheds it to the street. Our page on downspouts and drainage covers extensions and buried lines.

North St. Lucie County Coverage

South of the county line, installers reach Lakewood Park off Indrio Rd and Kings Hwy in 15 to 20 minutes, and Fort Pierce in 20 to 25, from downtown and Lincoln Park out to South Beach on Hutchinson Island. Both were on or near the path of the October 2024 tornadoes, and the 2004 hurricanes Frances and Jeanne crossed the same ground, so roof-edge repair is a steady part of the work there.

Port St. Lucie and Stuart are outside the area we currently cover. If you live there, you are welcome to call and ask, but we cannot promise to have an installer for your address.

Licensing and Permits on Each Side of the County Line

Florida has no single statewide gutter license. Indian River County lists gutter work among its locally licensed specialty trades, while St. Lucie County, which covers Fort Pierce and Lakewood Park, has its own contractor and permit rules. Every gutter installer we send is licensed where Florida requires it, and insured. Before any job, you can look up a contractor on the Florida DBPR license search at myfloridalicense.com and ask the installer whether your job needs a county permit. This is general information, not legal advice.

Indian River County also requires state-certified contractors to register before working in the county or the City of Vero Beach, and inside Vero Beach city limits building permits go through the City's Building Department. Handy links: the Florida DBPR license search, Indian River County's list of locally licensed trades and the City of Vero Beach. On the St. Lucie side, ask the installer which office handles your permit and get the answer in the written quote.

Questions about our gutter service area

How far from Vero Beach will your gutter installers travel?

The regular area is a ring about 25 minutes around central Vero Beach: Sebastian to the north, Fort Pierce to the south, Indian River Shores on the barrier island and Lakewood Park just over the St. Lucie County line. Inside that ring, call (855) 633-0442 and we will tell you the earliest available visit for your address. The drive times on this page are estimates, not arrival promises.

Do you cover Port St. Lucie, Stuart or Palm Bay?

Not as part of the regular area. Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Palm Bay and Melbourne sit outside the 25-minute ring the installers work. You are welcome to call and ask, and we will say plainly whether anyone can take the job. We would rather tell you up front than send someone who can't come back for follow-up work.

Is gutter work different on the barrier island than on the mainland?

Yes. On the island, salt air goes after fasteners and thin coatings, so stainless or coated hardware, heavier aluminum or copper gutters matter more, and gated communities may require design approval. On the mainland, the bigger issues are homes built without gutters, oak and pine debris, and moving downspout water away from the slab on flat, sandy lots.

Who handles gutter permits in Indian River County versus St. Lucie County?

It depends on where the house sits and what the job includes. Inside a city or town, the city or town usually handles building permits; in unincorporated areas, the county does. Indian River County covers Vero Beach South, Florida Ridge and Gifford, and St. Lucie County covers Lakewood Park. Not every gutter job needs a permit, so ask the installer to check and to name who pulls it in the written quote.
